Director of Photography based in Ridgewood, Queens.
Equally at home on a commercial set with a full crew where we all say 'COPY THAT' into our headsets, or on a small nonprofit project where I'm the only one who knows what a stinger is.
Likes: dialing in lighting ratios, espresso, and innovative creative.
Dislikes: late call times, a lack of diversity on crews, and phoning it in.
Always looking for talented, fun, inspiring people to make new work with. Owner/Op with a full kit and relationships with rental houses all over the country, so I can get whatever the job needs.
Outside of film: I married my childhood sweetheart. I'm the executive director of the International Cardistry Association (cardistry.org), a 501(c)(3) dedicated to cardistry. I also mentor students at NYC SALT, a photography program for underserved New York City students.
